Thanks for your interest in the PTA Reflections Art Contest!
Please fill out the following information and we will email you the fillable entry form, as well as send one home with your child. All submissions are due on Wednesday October 13th!

The theme is "I Will Change The World By..."
This is a student contest! Parents may assist but "obvious" work done by parents will not be accepted. Please have student/artist incorporate the theme into the project as this is a theme-based contest. The categories your child may create art projects are:

+ Visual Arts (drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, fashion design, jewelry, computer-generated, etc)
+ Photography (single photo, panoramic, photogram, etc)
+ Music Composition (compose music of any genre with any instrument, etc)
+ Dance Choreography (original dance choreography in any dance style, gymnastics, ice-skating, etc)
+ Literature (poetry, reflective essay, short story, etc)
+ Film Production (screenwriting, directing, editing of animation, documentary, multimedia, filming, etc)

Submissions will be judged by local artists/professionals in each of the categories. Keep the theme in mind! Winners will be awarded and announced the last week in October. The top 3 winners in each category and each division (Kindergarten-2nd and 3rd-5th grade) will be submitted to the Pinellas County Reflections Contest for further judging and the chance to win at the county level!

This year we will accept digital submissions by emailing photo, video, or music files to reflections@mildredhelmspta.org, along with your filled out entry form!  
Tangible artwork can be brought to the art room or music room at school. You can also arrange project drop-off before or after school with Heather (Reflections Chair) by calling or texting 727-906-7749. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
