ABOUT THE ARTS BOOSTERS

Working to support ALL of Moore Square's amazing arts programs!

The Moore Square Arts Boosters Foundation is a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; EIN 83-1539239.

Until 2017, Moore Square had a grant to cover the school’s transition to a Gifted & Talented/AIG Basics school. When that grant expired, the Moore Square Arts Boosters Foundation was created to support our vibrant arts curriculum.

​

Moore Square also has an active PTSA program, which we urge you to support, as well. The PTSA and the Arts Boosters serve two different purposes, which, together, create one great middle school! 

​

The role of the PTSA is to cover broader financial requests for the school’s benefit. The role of the Arts Boosters is to raise funds to cover the many expenses necessary to support a rigorous arts program, such as: sheet music, instrument purchases, dance costumes, drama sets & props, drawing paper, pottery glaze, wireless microphones, lighting, entrance fees for events and competitions, and rights for music & scripts!

To that end, we invite you to join the Moore Square Arts Boosters Foundation!

We also will need volunteer support to sell tickets, set up for performances, sell concessions, and help with a spring event. Please email info@mooresquarearts.com if you would like to be on our volunteers email list or have a business connection for a possible sponsorship.
